Sweet apple crisp muffins

This evening I decided to try to make muffins without any sort of direction. I decided that the easiest recipe to attempt from scratch was muffins but I really was in the mood for apple crisp. Then I thought: OF COURSE! And then created single apple crisps pies! They are delicious and the perfect size for a single serving!

Instructions
---Preheat oven to 350 degrees

To make batter

---Stir in a large bowl until mixed:

1 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 cup all purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp cinnamon
2/3 cup granulated sugar
3/4 stick of butter

---After fully mixing dry ingredients add:

1/3 cup plain Greek yogurt

1 cup milk
2 eggs

To make topping

--1 apple (sliced into small, thin pieces)
---In a separate bowl combined :

1/3 cup brown sugar
1  cups quick oatmeal
1/4 stick butter
---In a muffin tin, fill 17 muffin papers half way with flour mixture. add on top few apple slices into each pocket.

---Sprinkle on top rolled oat mixture.

---Cook muffins for 20 minutes, or until golden brown
Enjoy!
